Purpose & Mission
The symposium aims to actively address the impact of major risk factors and develop standards and recommendations for the treatment of head and neck cancers.
It seeks to contribute to improving the quality of healthcare services across the Balkan Peninsula and the Black Sea region.
About the Working Group
History: The BBS was established in 2023 as the successor to the Southern European Club of Endocrine Tumors (SECET), which was founded in 2019 in Sofia.
Affiliation: The group operates under the umbrella of the World Congress on Thyroid Cancer (WCTC).
Previous Events: The first BBS Symposium was held in 2023 in Thessaloniki, Greece.
